Physical Education

At Eppalock Primary School, students are encouraged to develop their physical skills and fitness through our Sports and Physical Education Program. Students participate in a 30 minute Physical Education session each day in which they enjoy ball skills, co-ordination and fitness activities and games. Grades 3-6 also undertake a 1 hour sports session each week.

We offer an 8 week swimming program (4 weeks at the beginning of the year and 4 weeks at the end of the year) at the Eaglehawk YMCA Indoor Pool. As a school, we take part in the Regional Cross Country, Emu Valley Cluster School Sports, Sideline Basketball as well as a Mixed AFL Tournament. Students are also involved in a number of sports clinics throughout the year.

We also offer the Active After School Care program on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (3:15pm - 4:30pm) for 7 weeks each term. This program is free of charge and gives students the opportunity to undertake many different sports and activities. For more information on the Active After School Care Program, please click here.
