Live for Lily Sponging Day 2019
‘Sponging fundraiser’ afternoon!
In return for a gold coin donation and you get to throw wet sponges at Dasha and Loki’s dad Adrian and Eppalock teaching staff!
All funds raised go towards this year’s ‘Ride for Lily’ event to support childhood cancer research.
When: Friday March 1st (afternoon starting around 2.30 pm)
Where: Eppalock School

Adventure to Melville Caves
A great day at Melville Caves. Caving, bush art, orienteering and Indigenous culture. Thanks Sal, Jackie, Maddie, Luke, Rhianna for your leadership of activities. You are all amazing, inspiring people. Thanks Lydia and Hamish for your organisation and work to make this happen. Your energy and passion for the outdoors is awesome. Thanks to staff who attended the day and provided great support. Thanks to our inquisitive and adventurous Eppalock students who continue to think about and care deeply about the environment and world around them. Finally a big thanks to our generous community members who donated financially to help make this day possible. A great day was had by all.

STEM at EPS
We have had a fantastic start to term 3 STEM. We have been exploring engineering, strong shapes, structures, bracing and joints.
Wonderful group work, discussions and constructions!
We have been loving our new Lego that we purchased through a generous grant from Fosterville Goldmine.

ResourceSmart Schools 5 Star Rating
Recently we were awarded 5 Stars as part of the ResourceSmart Schools program. Woohoo!!!!

Parent Club News
Another successful Parent Club meeting on Monday. Things to look forward to in the coming months:
· Pie Drive – order forms will be sent home soon, collection date 13th September
· Mango Drive – to start later this term, collection in term 4
· Fathers Day/Footy Colours Day – details to come
· Election Day 24th November – save the date, cake stall and BBQ to be held at school polling booth
